Tip: To find the grade you need in your next exam, add the subject with its weight and try different grades until the average reaches your goal.
Weighted average example
| Subject | Grade /20 | Coef. | Grade × coef. |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maths | 14 | 4 | 56 |
| Physics | 12 | 3 | 36 |
| Arabic | 15 | 2 | 30 |
| English | 16 | 1 | 16 |
| Total | 10 | 138 |
Average = 138 ÷ 10 = 13.80. A simple average of the four grades would give 14.25 — the difference comes from the coefficients, which give the weaker maths grade more weight.
Using it to plan
- Enter your current grades, then add the next exam with different scores to see the effect of each point.
- Focus on high-coefficient subjects: one point in a coefficient-4 subject is worth four in a coefficient-1 subject.
- For the official Moroccan bac formula, use the Moroccan Baccalaureate Average Calculator.
