Was this tool helpful?

This zakat calculator brings all zakatable wealth together: cash, bank balances, shares, trade goods and money owed to you, plus gold of different karats and silver. It then deducts debts due now and compares the total with the nisab.

The nisab is computed from the gold or silver price you enter (85 g of gold or 595 g of silver). If your wealth reaches it, the tool shows the zakat due at 2.5%.

How to use it

  1. Enter your money: cash, balances, investments, stock and receivables.
  2. Enter gold weights by karat, silver, and today’s price per gram.
  3. Enter debts due now and choose the nisab basis.
  4. Read the zakat due or the amount remaining to reach the nisab.

Features

  • All zakatable assets in one form.
  • 21k and 18k gold converted to pure gold equivalent.
  • Nisab by gold or silver at today’s price.
  • Debts due are deducted.
  • Numbers saved in your browser for next year.

Tip: Pick a fixed day each lunar year to calculate zakat and note your balances and the gold price; next year will be much easier.
