Merge PDF combines several files into a single, well-ordered document — a month of invoices, book chapters or job application attachments. Drag the files into order first and get one file ready to send or print.
How to use it
- Click “Select PDF files” or drop your files onto the page.
- Drag the cards to reorder them, or use “Sort A–Z”.
- Click “Merge PDF” and download the result.
Features
- Merge any number of files in one step.
- Pages, text and links are kept exactly as they are.
- Preview the first page of every file before merging.
- Add more files at any time before running.
When do you need to merge PDFs?
- Job applications: cover letter, CV and certificates in one file instead of five attachments that can get lost.
- Paperwork: ID copies, proof of address and receipts requested by an office or online portal, in a single document.
- Monthly bookkeeping: all of a month's invoices in one file, ordered by date, for your accountant.
- Studying: lessons or assignments scanned with your phone, gathered into one file per subject.
Tips before merging
- Order the files the way the recipient will read them — most important first.
- Check the final size before sending: many email services limit attachments (Gmail allows 25 MB). If it's too big, run Compress PDF after merging.
- Give the result a clear name such as “application-yourname.pdf” instead of “merged.pdf”.
- To delete or rotate a page afterwards, use Organize PDF.
Privacy and security
“Merge PDF” runs entirely in your browser using trusted open-source libraries. Your files are never uploaded to a server and no copy is kept, so your documents stay private. It is free and needs no sign-up.
Tip: If a file is password-protected, unlock it first with “Unlock PDF”.
