Convert Word files to PDF to share a fixed layout that looks the same on every device. The tool previews your document with its text, images and tables, then uses your browser’s print engine to save it as a PDF with the page size and margins you choose.
How to use it
- Choose a DOCX file.
- Pick page size, orientation and margins.
- Click “Save as PDF”, then choose “Save as PDF” in the print window.
Features
- Instant document preview.
- Full support for Arabic and right-to-left text.
- Images, tables and headings supported.
- A4 or US Letter.
Why send a PDF instead of a Word file?
- Fixed layout: the recipient sees exactly what you designed — no shifting images, fonts or page breaks.
- Opens everywhere: on phones and computers, without Word.
- Often required: many offices, universities and job portals ask for PDF.
- Harder to change by accident: ideal for CVs, quotes and finished contracts.
Tips for a clean PDF
- Check the preview: watch page breaks and tables that split across two pages.
- In the print dialog choose “Save as PDF” as the destination, not your printer.
- Untick “Headers and footers” in the print dialog if the page address or date appears at the top.
- If images make the file large, run it through Compress PDF.
Privacy and security
“Word to PDF” runs entirely in your browser using trusted open-source libraries. Your files are never uploaded to a server and no copy is kept, so your documents stay private. It is free and needs no sign-up.
Tip: DOCX is supported. If your file is an old .doc, save it as .docx in Word first.
