Extract tables and data from PDF statements, invoices and financial reports into Excel. Columns are detected from text positions and numbers become real numeric values you can sum and sort right away.
How to use it
- Choose a text-based (not scanned) PDF.
- Pick one sheet per page or a single sheet.
- Click “Convert to Excel” and open the file.
Features
- Automatic column detection.
- Numbers, percentages and Arabic digits become numeric values.
- Right-to-left sheets for Arabic documents.
- XLSX works in Excel and Google Sheets.
What you can do after converting
- Bank statement: total the month's spending by type or find a transaction by amount.
- Supplier price list: compare new prices with old ones, or add a margin column.
- Financial report or results: build a chart from the figures instead of retyping them.
Post-conversion checklist
- Make sure each column holds one kind of data — dates in one, amounts in another.
- Sum the amounts column and compare it with the total printed in the PDF. If they match, the numbers are sound.
- Rows that wrap onto two lines in the PDF may split into two rows; merge them by hand.
- Delete repeated page-header rows that appear mid-table.
Privacy and security
“PDF to Excel” runs entirely in your browser using trusted open-source libraries. Your files are never uploaded to a server and no copy is kept, so your documents stay private. It is free and needs no sign-up.
Tip: Check the headers after converting; merged cells may need small fixes.
